This exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Chief Executive. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspiring leader with relevant experience and expertise to support the Minister for Emergency Services in discharging all legislative responsibilities.



Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and manage a risk-based emergency management framework, provide effective resource allocation, and maintain strategic policy frameworks supported by risk management strategies.


In collaboration with stakeholders, you will be involved in initiating sector improvements and maintaining key capabilities such as public information and warning systems.



Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience and expertise in emergency services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders
