Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Grid Systems Engineer to join our team. As an ADMS and DERMS expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced distribution management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and Support: Lead the implementation and support of GE PowerOn Advantage Platform projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Product Experience: Have in-depth knowledge of GE PowerOn product and utilities, with a strong understanding of their features and capabilities.
  • Global T&D Utilities: Collaborate with global electric T&D utilities to modernize their grids, focusing on grid modernization and digital grid areas.
  • ADMS Platforms: Work with major ADMS platforms like GE, SE, Siemens, HE, Oracle, or specialized DERMS platforms such as SGS, EnergyHub, PXiSE, AutoGrid.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High-Level Knowledge: Possess a high level of knowledge of GE's PowerOn Fusion, including Advanced Distribution Management Systems and integrated Asset Data models.
  • Development Skills: Have development skills in PLSQL, PERL, JAVA Script, and SOAP integration.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills to lead peer and junior team members.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills across business, suppliers, and partners.
  • ITIL Process Knowledge: Have ITIL process knowledge and experience working with multiple service providers.
  • Safety Leadership: Provide safety leadership to support Customer Services Mission Zero & HSEQ plan.
  • IT Knowledge: Possess a high level of IT knowledge, including operating systems, servers, and networking.


Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Digital/Technology-related field is highly desirable.
  • Electrical and Power Systems Knowledge: Relevant electrical and power systems knowledge or qualifications with applied experience in the field of expertise.
