Personal Care Worker, Overnight Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Personal Care Worker to join our aged care service team. As a night shift worker, you will provide exceptional care and assistance to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while respecting their individual physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs.

In this role, you will support residents with overnight care and assistance, including participating in the development and review of resident care plans, completing charting and reporting any observed changes in a resident's health to the Registered Nurse, and undertaking various tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives, and staff, ensuring all interactions are treated confidentially.
  • Support and assist in providing a comfortable, safe, and secure environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring for seniors and enjoys building relationships with residents. You should have a positive attitude, work well with others, and be happy to support your fellow team members.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts across 7 days per week.
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain.
