About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Caregiver to join our team at Bupa Willoughby. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-first care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with the delivery and administration of medication, as required
  • Maintain accurate health care documentation, adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous aged care experience is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
