About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant at Estia Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking an individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional care and service with a personal touch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment, adhering to our stringent health and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to develop and implement menu plans that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to resident requests and feedback.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Basic Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
