Strategic Cloud Sales Expert

About the Role
Workday Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Cloud Sales Expert to join our Field Sales organization. As a key player in driving new customer growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with customer business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and drive overall short-term strategy for assigned accounts, building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Identify potential sales opportunities for Workday solutions among existing specialized products customers.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/cloud-based solutions to C-levels in a field sales position.
- Experience managing 9+ month sales cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
- Account planning and coordinating with internal stakeholders to create alignment.
- HR technology and recruiting/talent acquisition experience.
Other Qualifications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.
- Develop deep product expertise on new products and stay current with industry trends.
- Partner with internal team members on account strategies for prospecting activities and territory management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to establish credibility with senior executives.
- Sold to large enterprises/Fortune 1000 companies.
- Self-starter, high energy, adaptable, inquisitive.
- Goal-oriented with consistent track record of over-performance.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, superannuation, and paid time off.
