About Our PhD Program

The Centre for Health Economics is a world-renowned research group in the economic analysis of health and healthcare.

We are one of the highest concentrations of economists working in health in the Asia-Pacific region, with the largest Health Economics PhD program in Australia. This reflects our reputation as leading researchers and the quality of their mentorship.

Our PhD program typically takes three and a half years to complete, providing opportunities for domestic and international conference travel and the potential for international research visits.
