Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Data and Security Engineer to join our team at Macquarie. As a key member of our Networks team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our Core Network and Security solutions globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop user guides and reference materials for our network solutions
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure adoption and identify standard or custom patterns for system integration
  • Design, implement, and maintain our Core Network and Security solutions
  • Troubleshoot critical issues and own them through to resolution

Requirements

  • Strong Core Networking skills, including Layer 2/3 protocols and technologies
  • Good Network Security skills, including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and VPN Remote access technologies
  • Strong skills in Load balancing and DNS
  • Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows, SNMP, and Microsoft Active Directory
