Art Director

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work and be highly skilled in creating high-quality images. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with other artists and supervisors. They must have the ability to take direction well and work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.

  • They will be responsible for delivering shots on time and within budget.
  • They will have a solid understanding of image pipeline from capture to delivery.
  • They will be able to maintain the highest quality image possible.
  • They will have strong proficiency in multi-element integration and edge work.
  • They will have advanced skill at hand painting techniques using Silhouette.
  • They will have strong knowledge of photography, composition, lighting, color and motion.
  • They will have specific knowledge of layering math and trade-offs of filtering techniques in relation to sharpness and noise/grain.
  • They will be able to work across departmental lines to develop techniques and efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Strong artistic eye with experience in making shots look cool.
  • Keen eye and attention to detail for reviewing roto/paint shots.
  • Technically proficient in performing all roto/paint tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to think analytically and innovatively.
  • Always curious and seeks new learning opportunities.
