Mental Health Prevention Specialist

A Mental Health Prevention Specialist will play a key role in our centre, working with culturally diverse communities to minimize the impact of mental health issues.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with people from various backgrounds. They will also have knowledge of mental health issues and cultural nuances that affect service delivery.
This role requires someone who is passionate about promoting cultural responsiveness and providing high-quality services to meet the needs of all individuals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural sensitivity and understanding among staff members;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective clinical consultations for clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;
- Conduct workshops and training sessions on cultural competency and mental health awareness;
- Maintain accurate records and reports on client interactions and service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, nursing);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
