Quality Manager Job Description

At Monadelphous, we're seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our Engineering Construction Division. As a key member of our project team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and maintaining our reputation as a leading provider of multidisciplinary project management and construction services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational quality activities, directing quality control and ensuring compliance with Monadelphous quality management systems, customer specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Facilitate the establishment of multiple upfront project start-up deliverables, including project plans and roadmaps with clear dates and deliverables.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of multi-discipline project quality resources, providing an overview of project quality requirements and client introductions.
  • Lead a work team culture of performance excellence, providing advice, guidance, and support to the Project Quality team to ensure effective provision of Quality services.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice to all project quality personnel and support to resolve technical quality issues.
  • Manage offsite fabrication activities and resources, ensuring work conformance against specified criteria.
  • Completion of project quality auditing and schedule development.
  • Manage relationships with Customers, Subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Drive operations to continuously enhance processes and support change to sustain and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide safety leadership, identifying hazards and advising on safety procedures, actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role, with robust knowledge of the operational quality environment.
  • Experience managing offsite fabrication activities & resources and ensuring work conformance against specified criteria.
  • Minimum CWIP 3.1 as well as onsite experience.
  • Internal auditor qualification and experience.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities.
  • First-class communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-facing focus.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
