Procurement Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a driven professional to take on a key responsibility in sourcing materials and components for production.

The successful candidate will be working closely with stakeholders to ensure adequate stock levels are held to meet production schedules and company objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyse specifications and drawings to source make-to-order materials and components.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding specification and quality issues, following established processes and procedures.
  • Work with Production Planners to maintain awareness of vendor lead times and negotiate changes as required.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve queries and complete the RFQ and purchase process.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing trade or degree qualification.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) highly regarded.
  • CIPS accreditations are highly regarded.
  • Comprehensive experience in international sourcing and procurement.
  • Experience interpreting requirements and sourcing products using engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and MRP systems.
