System Administrator Position Overview

As a senior system administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations and business-as-usual processes within the infrastructure services team.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operation of Windows Server operating systems.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues related to Windows Server infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a senior system administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level support for Windows Server operating systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and file and print services.
  • Proficiency in systems monitoring and patching using Microsoft System Centre products and Intune.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience managing Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers, including template deployment and user administration.
  • Knowledge of Australian Government Cyber Security requirements, processes, and artefacts, including ISM, Essential 8, and ACSC hardening guides.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Experience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including vaulting credentials and integrating with enterprise authentication systems.
