We are seeking a skilled operator to manage our vacuum excavation unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the vacuum excavation unit and equipment for underground service detection, storm water pipeline cleaning and other related tasks.
  • Locate utilities including power, communication, water, gas, drainage and sewer services.
  • Provide written defect reports to the maintenance team.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Complete daily documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and serviceability of Company Vehicles at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current NSW unrestricted driver's license
  • A WHS general construction induction certificate (White Card)
  • Prior experience in vacuum excavation operations
  • General knowledge of plant and servicing requirements
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A safe and cautious approach to truck driving
  • Organisational abilities and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective client communication
  • A practical and common-sense approach to tasks
