Senior Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a Senior Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing high-level clinical expertise in psychological interventions for consumers presenting with suicidal ideation and associated behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in triage, intake, and care coordination for consumers presenting with suicidal behaviors and ideas.
- Provide case management for up to 3 months, linking into long-term follow-up services.
- Lead multidisciplinary staff members and contribute to clinical practice within the mental health service as a senior staff member.
- Encourage a culture of active participation in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification clinical experience in Public Mental Health Services.
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (except Social Work).
- Occupational Therapists - Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Social Workers - An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Current Victorian driver's license.
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain.
