About the Role

The NSW Crime Commission is seeking a skilled Forensic Accountant to join our specialist financial investigations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing concurrent confiscation matters, conducting financial analyses, and providing specialist financial advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial investigations and analyses to determine proceeds of crime and unexplained wealth
  • Participate in interviews and provide specialist financial advice to support investigations
  • Attend pre-settlement negotiations and provide expert financial guidance
  • Manage concurrent confiscation matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Commission policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in forensic accounting or a related field
  • Relevant experience in financial investigations or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to communicate technical and financial concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
