About This Role

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to lead the development and implementation of financial strategies that drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including preparation of quarterly and annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Manage and supervise a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and prepare for audit and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Qualified Accountant or related field degree from a reputable institution.

Minimum 5 years experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a corporate accounting environment.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results, improving processes, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

A strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and procedures, with experience in managing large-scale financial projects.

Familiarity with industry-leading financial software and technology platforms.

Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Able to work independently, as part of a team, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Postgraduate qualifications in finance or related field are desirable but not essential.
