Job Title: Consultant - Emergency Department

This is a senior level position in a dynamic team culture, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of junior colleagues.

  • This role involves working in a 7 day, 38 hour (4 shifts) per week roster, with the ability to make requests for time off to explore all that South Australia has to offer.

As a specialist FACEM, you will be responsible for managing patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your strong relationship building skills and commitment to education and training will enable you to effectively mentor and support junior staff.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a vibrant team environment, with a focus on continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional development.

  • The ideal candidate will have Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent, as well as Specialist registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.

You will be actively engaged in continuing education activities, including audit and morbidity and mortality review, to maintain your skills and knowledge in this field.
