Our organisation provides care services to enable older people to live independently and safely at home.

The role offers flexibility and variety, with a permanent part-time position requiring a minimum of 30 hours fortnightly. Shifts cover a range of times between 08:00 and 16:00, with a requirement of three days per week including Thursday and Friday.

  • Meal support includes shopping, meal preparation and eating assistance.
  • Transportation and accompaniment involve supporting clients on shopping trips and appointments.
  • Social support and activities encompass outings and social events.
  • Personal care involves assisting with showering, bathing and self-care duties.
  • Domestic assistance includes light household cleaning.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, Community Services or Disability. They should also have medication competency, computer literacy and proficient Android mobile phone use for client care management.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy with older people and a compassionate approach are essential for this role. The successful candidate will also require a current driver's license, car with full comprehensive insurance and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
