Job Overview
Milestone IT (Milestone Information Technology) seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security posture, with a focus on Cisco FTD and ACI technologies.

About the Role:
In this challenging opportunity, you will play a critical role in ensuring network security, performance, and availability. Your expertise in Cisco FTD firewall configuration and management, as well as your knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture and implementation, will be essential in driving our network security forward.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco FTD firewalls and Cisco ACI fabric
• Implement and manage EPG rules within the Cisco ACI environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues related to FTD and ACI
• Perform network security assessments and implement security best practices
• Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation
• Participate in network upgrades and migrations
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco technologies
• Strong expertise in Cisco FTD firewall configuration and management
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture and implementation
• Hands-on experience creating and implementing EPG rules within ACI
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Experience with network security best practices and technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
• Experience with other network security technologies
• Experience with network automation tools
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ansible)
