About the Role
As an SAP EWM Functional Consultant at Argon & Co, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert knowledge and guidance to our customers and colleagues within the SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Warehouse Management (WM) domains.
Your responsibilities will include gathering and interpreting business requirements, executing configuration tasks, and developing functional enhancement specifications. You will ensure the successful implementation and optimisation of SAP solutions while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer and System Understanding: Promote and implement standard SAP functionality in alignment with Argon & Co's objectives.
- Requirement Analysis and Solution Design: Gather, document, and interpret business requirements. Develop functional design definitions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and data conversions.
- Configuration and Implementation: Execute configuration tasks and develop test scripts, functional enhancement specifications, and other system documentation. Support the development and deployment lifecycle from design to go-live.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure end-to-end process integration. Facilitate stakeholder reviews, system testing, data cleansing, and conversion activities. Identify and address scope changes and training needs.
- Innovation and Improvement: Identify and propose opportunities for solution improvement through innovation, training, and process re-engineering. Challenge and escalate requirements that lead to unnecessary customisations.
- Project Management: Provide realistic estimates for tasks and deliverables. Complete assignments within agreed timeframes and notify stakeholders of potential delays.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of technical SAP experience with a strong IT business background in SAP, Supply Chain, or similar disciplines.
- Extensive configuration experience in SAP EWM, WM, and Stock Room Management (SRM), including multinational project experience.
- Familiarity with technologies such as voice picking, automation systems, robotics, and mobile data entry solutions.
- General knowledge of SAP TM, SD, MM, PM, and QM.
- Proficiency in technical areas including ABAP, WebDynPro, Enhancements and BAdI, SAP Portal, SAP Basis tools, and SAP integration technologies.
- Knowledge of project management and business process design tools like MS Project, Aris, Signavio, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in industries such as FMCG, Retail, and/or Healthcare (would be beneficial).
- SAP EWM certification preferred.
