Job Opportunity: Support Worker

We are seeking a passionate and values-driven Support Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young individuals.

The successful candidate will work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored support to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals
  • Assisting with personal care, mobility, and skill development
  • Building meaningful connections and providing mentorship and emotional support
  • Supporting community participation and recreational activities
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
  • Advocating for customer rights and promoting independence
  • Creating safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • A valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • An NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
