Job Opportunity

The Senior Data Scientist will join a highly skilled data science team to analyze healthcare data and deliver value for clients.

This remote position in Australia requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and build data science models to achieve business goals.
  • Translate business requirements into data products and features.
  • Apply AI/machine learning techniques to resolve analytical problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to build integrated analytic solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in data and analytics for client engagements.
  • Analyze and present actionable insights to stakeholders, enabling informed decision making.

Key Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial advanced analytics environment.
  • Solid skills in building statistical/data science models.
  • Ability to create or modify existing AI/ML techniques to suit business needs.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and other advanced AI techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with AWS applications, including QuickSight, S3, SageMaker, and HealthLake.
  • Experience with agile software development.
