We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Assistant to join our mobile team. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in supporting mobility and functional programs, assisting with restorative therapy, and facilitating falls prevention and active ageing group sessions.
The successful applicant will work closely with clinicians and use our award-winning Plena Care Pathway to deliver reablement-focused programs that make a real difference in residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of individualized care plans for residents.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff to ensure comprehensive support is provided.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of active ageing programs.
- Assist with pressure care and pain management plans to ensure resident comfort and well-being.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults.
