About the Role

The Principal Counsel for Regional Operations will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to various departments within the company, including sales, partners, and procurement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to review, draft, negotiate, and interpret commercial agreements, ensuring they align with the company's interests and objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, platform integrations, and partnership agreements.

  • Negotiating and interpreting agreements to ensure they meet the company's needs and protect its interests.

  • Managing agreements and business activities to ensure compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.

  • Providing general legal support to the global and local business on an as-needed basis.

  • Collaborating with the People team to advise on local employment law issues and employee relations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience as an in-house lawyer in a high-tech company or in the commercial/hi-tech department of a leading law firm.

  • Proven experience with agreements, including SaaS Agreements, Terms of Service, and partnership agreements.

  • Proven experience with procurement agreements.

  • Proven experience with local employment law.

  • Familiarity with privacy aspects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • English: Mother tongue/full professional proficiency.
