About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Growth and Business Development Manager to join our team at NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across our diverse technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Refine Growth Strategy: Collaborate with our leadership team to update and refine our growth and business development strategy, setting achievable growth vision and targets.
  • Drive Business Development Processes: Lead internal Business Development and Relationship Management processes, including CRM and Key Account Management, to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Deliver Business Growth Targets: Meet annual business revenue plans and deliver Verbrec growth targets through effective business development and relationship management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Actively develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring current relationships remain strong and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new work, progressing prospects through a sales development process to become clients.
  • Proposal Development: Support the timely submission of proposals and contract information for various Services offerings.
  • Industry Growth: Grow Verbrec business in the energy transition, renewables, mining, and Infrastructure industries, as well as oil and gas and other industries.
  • Commercial Review: Work as a key member of the commercial review team, supporting the sales team to achieve key business performance metrics for order intake and margins.
  • Negotiation and Leadership: Lead negotiations with clients towards profitable commercial outcomes, payment structure, and risks positions for the business.
  • Proposal Leadership: Provide full proposal leadership from initial enquiry to deal closure and handover, tracking key dates and proposal submission deadlines.
  • Campaign and Product Design: Contribute ideas to the design of campaigns and products to ensure our offering remains relevant and competitive in the current market.
About You
  • Qualifications and Experience: Suitably qualified with 15+ years experience, ideally with a technical Asset Management background.
  • Business Development Experience: Previous Business Development experience working across the Energy Transition, Oil & Gas, and Mining sectors.
  • Relationship Building: Proven experience securing a blend of both long-term contracts and stand-alone projects.
  • Commercial Experience: A diverse and deep career with an established and broad-reaching network, complemented by a range of relevant commercial experience across technical disciplines and client assets.
  • Sales and Proposal Experience: Experience and energy in sales and/or proposals, contracts, sales support, and reporting.
  • Project Management: Experience and understanding of delivering effective client solutions as well as the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Business development and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and convert new prospects, well-developed communication skills, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to present to client senior management.
