As a transformative leader in mental health, you have the opportunity to shape the future of care for young people in Tasmania. This innovative role requires a clinical director to lead high-quality, evidence-based services and provide strategic governance to medical staff. You will collaborate closely with managers to ensure seamless care coordination and maintain strong relationships with Tasmanian Health partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement programs for early psychosis, ensuring high fidelity to best practices.
- Lead clinical services, providing oversight and support to teams delivering evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Medical qualifications and full registration with AHPRA, along with Fellowship in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
- Proven track record in clinical psychiatry, with extensive experience in developing and implementing programs for people experiencing mental illness.
- Strong understanding of the Tasmanian mental health sector and relevant legislation.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and educate teams.
