In this exciting role, you will work as a pharmacy assistant in a hospital setting, providing support to healthcare professionals and patients alike. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing medications, counseling patients on over-the-counter medicines, and assisting with customer inquiries.
The ideal candidate for this position will have current enrollment in pharmacy studies at a recognized Australian university and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a clinical pharmacy environment, working alongside experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. If you are interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy and are eager to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
The shift for this role is approximately 3 hours per week, starting at 3:00 pm and finishing at 6:00 pm. This will provide you with a great balance between work and study commitments. As you gain experience and confidence, you will have the opportunity to transition into a weekend casual role, further enhancing your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced hospital environment.
