About the UniSA Research OfficeThe UniSA Research Office provides support for the management of research, administers sponsored research projects, and contract research and consultancy agreements. The Research Contracts Team works closely with researchers and stakeholders to prepare, review, negotiate, and execute research contracts, ensuring compliance with the University's delegation framework.

Essential Skills and Experience- A tertiary law degree or recognised legal, paralegal, or business qualifications, with demonstrated expertise in legal review and advice, drafting, negotiating, administering, and advising on contracts.
- A good working knowledge of contract law and commercial contracting, with the ability to critique legal documents and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and build external relationships.
- Ability to apply initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills in contracting, including interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.
- Well-developed skills in time management, priority setting, communication, and organisation, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure.
