Event Support Role

The role of event support staff involves providing a high-quality service to our guests at various events held in our venues. This may include assisting with event setup and breakdown, serving food and beverages, operating tills and handling cash accurately, and performing cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with events on a casual basis in all of our venues.
  • Provide a superior quality service over a variety of events including gala dinners, school formals, concerts, conferences and exhibitions.
  • Attend to the needs of function guests before, during and after functions.
  • Set up and break down of functions.
  • Deliver food at high speed and efficiency.
  • Operate tills and handle cash accurately.
  • Clear tables and perform cleaning duties.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working behind the bar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
