Job Title: Diverse Learning Leader of Learning

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced educational leader to join our team as a Diverse Learning Leader of Learning. The successful applicant will have highly developed interpersonal skills, a commitment to Catholic education, and a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Diverse Learning Team to develop and implement inclusive education models of service delivery.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, students, and outside agencies to support individual students with specific learning needs.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate high-quality individualized educational programs, including adjustments.
  • Provide whole school leadership around differentiation of the curriculum, including assessment tasks to meet individual learning needs.
  • Oversee data collection for NCCD and ensure compliance with Disability Standards for Educators (2005) and Broken Bay Catholic Schools requirements.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in special education.
  • Exemplary classroom practitioner.
  • Ability to liaise with parents, staff, students, and outside agencies.
  • Understanding of NESA requirements for disability provisions and life skills outcomes.
