About This Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at our Moran Engadine home. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with our Care Manager and wider team to deliver exceptional lifestyle and wellness services to our residents.

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and facilitating lifestyle engagement and practice at our Aged Care Home. This role includes developing and coordinating the delivery of our Lifestyle Programs through a dedicated team and working closely with on-site physiotherapists.

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by developing programs that are fun, fulfilling, and meaningful, enhancing and maintaining each person's social, recreational, cultural, and spiritual well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and implement lifestyle care plans suited to residents' abilities and preferences">
  • Coordinate staff and volunteers to administer activities and events">
  • Work with healthcare professionals and residents to assess individual needs and preferences">
  • Support residents in maintaining cognitive function and physical activity">
  • Engage with stakeholders, including residents, families, community groups, and other services">
  • Maintain records of activities, participation levels, and feedback">
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent experience">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • A genuine interest in talking to people and encouraging others to enjoy their lives to the fullest">
  • Ability to work as part of a team and attention to detail">
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills">
  • Knowledge of Aged Care legislation and regulations">
  • Valid working visa">
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)">
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination">
