Machinist Role

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our workshop division.

The role is diverse, with no two days being the same. The primary responsibilities include fitting and machining tasks focused on electrical motors and equipment used in various sectors.

Our workshop division is currently in a growth phase, and this role is vital to our ongoing development.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Trade Qualification as a Machinist
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a motor workshop environment
  • Ability to identify and rectify faulty and worn components
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting drawings
  • Experience with quality assurance, including dimensional checking and reporting
  • Ability to work to industry standards
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with flange management and machining
  • Strong commitment to WHS policies and procedures
  • Dedication to compliance and health and safety measures, including willingness to undertake additional training
