Technical Specialist Position

TPG Telecom is looking for a skilled technical specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable platforms, as well as managing reusable frameworks using Agile development methodology.

This role will involve operating high-performance platforms, designing and developing enterprise-grade applications, and maintaining owned services and applications in a DevOps mode. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, testing, and architecture, preferably with a background in integration and platform engineering.

The successful candidate will also have advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, and experience working with containerised applications and Kubernetes clusters. Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing highly resilient, robust, and cyber-safe integration platforms.
  • Utilising cloud technologies to optimise performance and cost.
  • Maintaining and running owned services and applications in a DevOps mode.
  • Following best practices and enforcing coding standards within the team.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve standards and practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development, testing, and architecture.
  • Extensive experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and other open-source frameworks.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Solid engineering experience using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tooling and underlying technologies.
