The Australian Defence Force is seeking highly skilled Artillery Officers to join our team. As an Artillery Officer, you will play a critical role in maximising the ADF's combat power through the provision of offensive support coordination and indirect firepower, surveillance and target acquisition, and ground-based air defence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide intimate indirect fire support to the battlefield, in support of Combat Team operations, utilising 155mm and 105mm Artillery guns.
- Operate RBS 70 missile systems and PSTAR Extended Range radars to provide air defence against enemy combat air power and surveillance capacity to provide data to the air combat picture.
- Utilise Weapon locating radars, ground surveillance detachments, and Unmanned Aerial vehicles to provide real-time surveillance and target acquisition to enable development of the intelligence picture and subsequent target engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to possess a strong understanding of artillery tactics and procedures, as well as the ability to operate complex military equipment.
