Our organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Coordinator to support the delivery of research projects across various groups, research organizations, and universities. This role involves working closely with the R&I team and other teams within the business to identify, scope, and deliver research proposals and projects that align with our strategic objectives and innovation plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate collaborative research initiatives, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Support the full lifecycle of research projects, from challenge identification to design, implementation, translation, and stakeholder management.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including project proposal development, contracts, tenders, reporting, and communications related to R&I projects.
  • Scan emerging technologies and critical scientific trends, developing horizon scans and desktop studies for the R&I team and across the business.
  • Promote the uptake of research outcomes, translating research into tools and resources for decision-making.
  • Coordinate innovation and pilot projects of a technical nature, building know-how to project manage multidisciplinary projects.
  • Develop project management plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements:
  • A science, environmental, engineering, or STEM degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, environmental science, research, and innovation or STEM.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate collaborative research.
  • Experience in supporting engineering and/or research projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in utilizing research methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of how to work with research universities and government entities.
