Your New Role

We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care, and intervention to our residents in Aged Care facilities throughout Australia. As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll work collaboratively with our medical team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns and promote a healthy lifestyle with a strong focus on preventative health care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and governance to patients
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness
  • Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice
  • Demonstrated extensive professional and/or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in quality improvement, its practical application in meeting patients' needs and quality service delivery
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of research findings to support evidence-based practice
  • Computer literacy
  • Evidence of appropriate and continuing professional indemnity insurance
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
