Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the site operations team
  • Develop and implement metallurgical process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct metallurgical test work and analysis
  • Manage and lead a team of metallurgical professionals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in metallurgical operations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement metallurgical process improvements
  • Experience in the mining industry, preferably in PNG
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a remote location and in a multi-cultural environment
