Clinical Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Townsville region. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide comprehensive specialist nursing care, clinical expertise, and leadership to support the service as a clinical and management resource in delivering quality and best practice nursing care.

The successful candidate will possess advanced practice knowledge in Community Nursing or specific areas of practice, such as palliative care, gerontology, dementia, and continence. You will be responsible for managing clinical workload, including care plans, referrals, and provision of services, ensuring effective communication with clients and carers, and providing consulting and coaching to staff on specific cases or aspects of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and lead by example to maintain high standards of clinical practice within the Service/Program
  • Manage complex clinical workloads, including care plans, referrals, and provision of services
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of clients
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Degree in Nursing, current CPR Certification, and Current AHPRA registration
  • Current National Police Certificate and a reliable vehicle
  • Evidence of recent practice in a community nursing or related field
