Job Title

A casual science educator is required to deliver quality tutorials, workshops and lectures in the classroom. The successful candidate will also be responsible for facilitating online learning, undertaking assessment moderation and marking, participating in curriculum development, and providing academic support for students and teaching staff.

Responsibilities may include teaching a range of subjects, including biological sciences, chemistry and human anatomy and physiology. Practical experience in these areas would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and recent and relevant teaching experience within the discipline.

  • Teaching Experience: Recent and relevant teaching experience within the discipline, with the ability to facilitate learning in small and large groups.
  • Diversity of Students: Experience teaching students from diverse linguistic, ethnic, and academic backgrounds.
