For our Aged Care Support Workers, every interaction with a client matters. It requires a unique individual to be a Care Worker and assist the elderly members of our society. We are seeking such a person to become part of our KinCare family in the Sutherland region.

Your responsibilities will include:

Domestic Assistance: Ensuring a clean and safe living environment for elderly clients Assisting clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping Offering social support and transportation for recreational activities Personal care including helping clients with daily routines, medication management, and mobility support Providing respite and emotional support to clients Transporting clients to appointments and social engagements Delivering specialized care for clients with complex needs, such as dementia

What qualities do we seek in a Care Worker?

Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing. Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, and medication assistance. A genuine passion for helping the elderly maintain their independence at home. A valid Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a component of the role. The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, understanding that not every day will go smoothly. Availability to work at least 3 days during the week, with no night or weekend shifts required. Comfort in working independently and solving everyday challenges, while knowing when to seek assistance from management.
