The program is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in risk management. You'll work on innovative projects, receive training and mentorship, complete meaningful work, and have the opportunity to network with leaders across the organization.

About the Role

As a member of our Risk team, you'll contribute to maintaining strong risk governance and frameworks that originate from board level and cascade down through the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing risks, compliance obligations, controls, events, and change initiatives to identify weaknesses/deficiencies.
  • Developing risk data analytic capabilities to deliver risk reporting, stress testing, and financial/scenario modeling.
  • Partnering across the organization to provide specialist support and advice.
  • Helping to promote an effective risk culture across the business.

To be eligible for this role, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of application, and have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the past three years or be due to complete it by the commencement of the program.

In order to succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You'll also need to be proficient in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office and other tools relevant to the role.
