We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to fill this exciting consultant role in Launceston Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
About the Role:This is a specialist position that requires a strong background in psychiatry, with experience working in a hospital setting. You will be responsible for providing expert care to patients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Postgraduate qualification in psychiatry or a related field
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a psychiatric unit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
