Job Opportunity for a School Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled School Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school staff, parents and caregivers to provide psychological support and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychometric assessments and prepare clinical reports to inform tailored support plans for students.
  • Lead professional learning initiatives to empower school staff to differentiate teaching and learning and meet the unique needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to apply psychological knowledge and improve student wellbeing, learning and behaviour outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Eligibility to register as a Psychologist in Australia with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Knowledge of current Australian Government policies and an understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
  • Awareness of the social, economic and cultural diversity within the Northern Territory.
  • Experience administering, scoring and interpreting screeners and diagnostic assessments to guide student support.
