Healthcare Support Professional

">Job Summary:

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join their team as a Healthcare Support Professional. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and support.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, medical officers, external providers, and administrators to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with the movement of patients within the hospital, including wheelchair or bed transfers.
  • Support hospital ward areas by supplying equipment and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with the transfer of patients to and from appointments.
  • Take direction from the Hospital Nurse Coordinator.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment or similar setting preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingsness to work across a number of different shift times and duration.
