About the Job:

CQ Medicentre is seeking a qualified Medical Receptionist to join our Reception Team. As a casual employee, you will work with a dynamic team and have the opportunity to grow into a part-time role in the future.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience as a medical receptionist. They will be efficient, motivated, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient flow, greet patients, answer phone enquiries, make appointments, check and process customer accounts.
  • Maintain the Best Practice patient database.
  • Process payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover, and Medicare billing systems.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks, including maintaining the reception area and Doctors consulting rooms.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist.
  • Experience with Best Practice software an advantage.
  • Familiarity with processing payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover, and Medicare billing.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
