About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join our team at NextGen, a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to the mortgage lending industry. As a Penetration Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement our Pen Testing Policy, ensuring comprehensive coverage and timely execution of penetration tests.
  • Schedule and execute penetration tests, identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities to strengthen our security posture.
  • Develop remediations and techniques to prevent future vulnerabilities, and respond to external findings by validating or falsifying them.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in information security, with a focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Proficiency in Burp Suite and various security testing tools, such as Metasploit and Nmap.
  • Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and CSRF.
  • Ideal candidates will hold one or more professional certifications, such as Certified Ethical Hacker or Certified Information.
  • Experience with manual testing techniques, including identifying and exploiting race conditions, logic flaws, and other complex vulnerabilities.
