Project Overview:

The Pluto Train 2 project is a significant expansion of the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia, operated by Woodside Energy.

Bechtel is collaborating with Woodside Energy to meet the growing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Discipline Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing electrical construction operations within the assigned area.

This role ensures that assigned construction operations and contractors' performance align with specifications, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct electrical professionals in construction activities within the assigned area.
  • Conduct employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for subordinate electrical personnel.
  • Record craft time using established automated tools.
  • Complete performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Lead safety initiatives, including safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures, and conducting Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings.
  • Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
  • Implement a ZERO Accident Philosophy, ensuring compliance with Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements, and standards within the assigned area.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of relevant field experience.
  • Current WA electrical license.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of EPCM contract management and contractors' responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) and a ZERO Accident safety program.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Instrumentation and EEHA in both construction and operational environments within the LNG industry.

This role requires working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship.
