About the Role

CU Services Pty Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Environment & Sustainable Development (ESD) practice in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of matters, particularly on major infrastructure projects, providing general advice, due diligence, transactions, and litigation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on planning, environment, and land acquisition matters to clients, including Federal, State, and local government agencies, and large Australian and multinational corporations.
  • Lead on significant projects, working closely with clients, consultants, counsel, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the ESD team to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative approaches to environmental and planning law.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental and planning laws, regulations, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.

Our ESD team is a leading practice in Australia, recognized for our expertise in environment and planning law, ESG, climate change, sustainability, water, energy, resources, natural capital, and regulated industry laws. We work closely with clients across various sectors, including government, resources, energy, water, infrastructure, urban development, construction, manufacturing, transport, and logistics.
