We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the growth of our trade partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with trade customers, including builders, contractors, and construction professionals.

The Opportunity

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will be responsible for promoting our range of timber and hardware products, providing expert advice and solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers to identify new business opportunities and establish a strong presence in the market.
  • Promote our range of timber and hardware products, providing expert advice and solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of our trade division through effective sales strategies and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with the trade team and other departments to ensure efficient order processing and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to support business decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in trade sales, preferably within the timber and hardware industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Sound product knowledge and technical advice skills, with the ability to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools, with the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
